The Clergy Welfare Committee of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide hereby reiterates that the pastoral directive concerning the deduction of 5% from the monthly income of all parishes is still in place and MUST be complied with.
The said 5% deduction is meant to take care of the welfare of Shepherds in their trial period and MUST be deducted, before the monthly income of parishes is divided into three, as stipulated by the apex authority of the church. The 5% deduction MUST be paid directly into the Clergy Welfare Account: United Bank of Africa (UBA) / 2243726927.
Please note that Shepherds MUST present proof of payment of the 5% deduction into the stipulated account before they can process the following at the Pastor’s Office:
-Marriage Ceremony
-Transfer
-Anointment
–Welfare Grant
-Other Transactions in the Office of the Pastor.
Failure to comply would attract further sanctions.
