The death has been announced of Superior Evangelist Peter Odili, a worthy soldier of Christ and valuable member of the Celestial Church of Christ, which occurred on Thursday, 30th November, 2023.
The late Superior Evangelist Peter Odili played pivotal roles in government and in the Celestial Church of Christ. He was the first Permanent Secretary of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) and a former member of the Pastor In Council, Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. Pa Odili also served as the Secretary of the 40th Anniversary Planning Committee of C.C.C. W/w. And for 14 years, he was the Parochial Committee Chairman of the Celestial Church of Christ, Lagos Central Parish, Osapa-London.
A widely travelled man, Pa Peter Odili was well read and enjoyed a life of giving to others. He was known to be a stabilising force who was well rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is survived by his amiable wife, Mother Celestial Cordelia Odili MPIC, children and grand children.
He was 84 years old.
