In a very crucial and strategic move towards restoring peace and unity at the Washington Metropolitan Parish, U.S.A. Archdiocese, National Headquarters, the Pastor’s International Representative at the helm of affairs at the parish, Most Superior Evangelist Olusegun Olarinde, has inaugurated a new Caretaker Commitee to oversee the day- to-day administration of the parish.
Sequel to the nominations made in the previous week by the members of the parish, the following individuals were inaugurated as members of the Caretaker Committee:
1- Most Superior Evangelist Olusegun Olarinde. – Chairman
2- Superior Evangelist Pius Adebowale
3- Superior Evangelist Phillip Bello
4.- Superior Evangelist Segun DaCosta
5- Ldr. Michael Silva – Secretary
6- MC Olufunke Bajulaiye – Treasurer
7- MCP Mary Williams – Assistant Treasurer
And in a related development, Superior Evangelist Phillip Bello was also appointed as the Personal Assistant to Most Superior Evangelist Olusegun Olarinde.
In his inaugural address to members of the Caretaker Commitee, Most Superior Evangelist Olusegun Olarinde urged them to work in one accord to make Washington Metropolitan Parish a reference point in the U.S.A Diocese of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.
He reminded them that members of the parish are one in Christ as our Lord and Saviour cannot be divided by anyone. He warned sternly that indiscipline would no longer be tolerated, noting that this is a new era, a new dispensation.
Present at the inauguration were VSE Martin Webb and VSE Tobi Ogunjinrin.
