The ancient town of Badagry, Lagos State, witnessed an impressive influx of faithfuls of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, as members of the world’s largest white garment church converged, from far and near, to give one of their own, late Most Superior Evangelist Abraham Ajose, a befitting burial on Friday, 14th April, 2023.
The week long program of events which began on Tuesday, 11th April, 2023 had programs like a Sides Men and Prophets Night, a Mass Choir Night, a Service of Songs and Wake Keep, a Burial Service, Interment and a Reception. The glitz and glamour that characterised the events screamed loud and clear that, indeed no stone was left unturned in ensuring that the departed icon of the Celestial Church of Christ, was sent home in a blaze of glory.
The late Most Superior Evangelist Abraham Ajose, who was until his demise the C.C.C. International Representative, served in various capacities in a career that spanned almost six decades in the vineyard of God. He was at different times a Shepherd, a Province Head, a State Evangelist, a Member of the Pastor in Council, amongst others. And in all these positions, Most Superior Evangelist Abraham Ajose gave very good accounts of himself, touched countless lives positively, won numerous souls for Christ and left indellible footprints on the sands of time.
We pray that his family is consoled and the church is comforted. May his soul find eternal peace. Amen.
