Steve Pelemoh aka Brobro was born in 1950 December, 24th into the family of Agboriefon Pelemoh. He hailed from Ibillo a part of Benin now Edo State. He was born into Methodist church. His mother was a music leader in her time also the father, Agborinefon, was a lover of music. He attended the early school and withdrew in standard six as his parents couldn’t afford to pay his education fee. He was then advised to learn house building work. At first, he refused and cried so much asking why he had to go learn vocational job when in actual sense he was very good in class. Little did he know that God was involved. He learnt the job and became really very good at it.
He came to Lagos in the early 60’s as he was well in pursuit of his career in house building at that time, he was getting contracts in which our National H/Q Makoko was part of the building contracted to him.
On the job at Makoko, he would see lots of miracles happening through the servant of God Prophet S.B.J Oshoffa. This got him so in love with the church. Though his family living at Makoko then with whom he was staying refused his decision to join Celestial Church of Christ to the point that late Supreme Bada came into the scene appealing to members of his family, by the power of God, they concede by allowing him to join the church.
In his first year of being a member, he was taken to the choir by a prophet indicating the place where he would serve. Till date, he’s still in the choir.
He met his wife Roslyn Pelemoh in 1970 and their union was blessed with children male and female all christened in Celestial fold. He’s well known across the length and breath of the church.
He has won series of award, rolled out at least 47 albums including the evergreen song Ojo Agbara na ti Osan Doru… and including other CCC hymns.
He still in the service and will always be. He’s a father and a grandfather….
