Superior Evangelist Ekundayo Olaifa of the Celestial Church of Christ, Isheri Cathedral, has been installed as the Grand Patron of the Prophets and Prophetesses of Agege Region of the Celestial Church of Christ.
Olaifa, a Member of the Pastor in Council, C.C.C. W/w, was installed at the C.C.C. Isheri Cathedral on Sunday, 14th July, 2024.
The event witnessed a large turn-out of Prophets and Prophetesses from the Agege Region led by Regional Head, Venerable Superior Evangelist R.A. Ojugbele and Venerable Superior Evangelist Demola Akinyemi.
Also in attendance were members of the Pastor in Council, Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, including Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala MPIC, Superior Evangelist Henry Adelakun MPIC, Superior Evangelist Gbenga Adekanmbi MPIC, SVMSE Gabriel Oshoffa MPIC, Mother Celestial Mojisola Alegbe MPIC and Mother Celestial Adebukanla Osibanjo MPIC.
Delivering the sermon, Shepherd in Charge, C.C.C. Isheri Cathedral, Venerable Superior Evangelist Akossou Severin spoke very strongly against fake prophets and prophecies. He urged prophets and prophetesses to earnestly seek the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
The highpoint of the investiture was the handing over of the documents of a plot of land at the Celestial City, Imeko, to the Prophets and Prophetesses, Agege Region, by the newly installed Grand Patron, Superior Evangelist Ekundayo Olaifa MPIC. While accepting the gift of a plot of land, Agege Regional Head, Venerable Superior Evangelist R.A. Ojugbele, assured that work would begin on the site before the end of the year.
