Accompanying His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa, were his amiable and dutiful wife, Mother Celestial Celine Oshoffa, Venerable Superior Evangelist Augustine Olumilade, Venerable Superior Evangelist S.F. Adeniyi, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Clement Olaposi Ijiwande, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Gouan Barthelemy, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala and Most Senior Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa (Personal Assistant to the Pastor, C.C.C. W/w).
In a power packed sermon delivered at the service, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa admonished the congregation to shun the material things of the world which amount to vanity in the end. He urged them to pick up their cross and follow Christ, while making heaven and eternity their ultimate focus. Sins of idol worshipping, fornication, adultery, back-biting, back-stabbing and gossiping, would only invite the wrath of God on the perpetrators, His Eminence emphasized.
“Babylon fell…Sodom and Gomorrah fell…all because of their sins. Repent therefore, so that the fate that befell Babylon and Sodom and Gomorrah would not befall anyone of us in the mighty name of Jesus,” E.M.F. prayed.
