A high -powered team from the Health Finance Department of the Sterling Bank Plc met with the executive members of the Clergy Welfare Committee of the Celestial Church of Christ on Tuesday, 12th December, 2023, at the pastoral residence in Lagos.
The Sterling Bank team led by Dr Godwin Efobi met with Venerable Superior Evangelist O. Olabode, Senior Evangelist Sunday Olufemi Sofowora and Senior Evangelist Oludare Abolurin and Superior Evangelist Adesina Sanni, at a meeting which was presided over by His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.
The Sterling Bank delegation unveiled an attractive Health Insurance Scheme to cater for the medicare of church clergy with a premium of N12,000 per individual/per annum. Hospitals to be used by subscribers to the scheme are spread across the length and breadth of the country, making it possible for all C.C.C. Clergy to access the medical facilities provided by the scheme, no matter where they are located.
Responding to the presentation, Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa expressed his approval and assured that the Celestial Church of Christ would adopt the scheme for the benefit of her clergy spread across Nigeria. He further assured that the church would be willing to subsidise the annual premium to the tune of N2,000 (two thousand naira) per clergy. This means that C.C.C. clergy that enroll in this health insurance scheme would only pay an annual premium of N10,000 (ten thousand naira) per clergy man/woman.
Present also were Mother Celestial Celine Oshoffa, Venerable Superior Evangelist Tosho Oshoffa, Venerable Superior Evangelist S.F. Adeniyi, Venerable Superior Evangelist Augustine Olumilade, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Gouan Barthelemy and Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala.
