Just a little over a year ago, on the 10th day of September, 2022, to be precise, a new management team led by AVSE Kayode Taiwo, arrived the Celestial Church of Christ Theological Seminary, Klm 53 Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, as a prelude to the re-opening of the institution after almost one year of closure.
The new management team (Team 11) met on ground infrastructures that were in a very sorry state and unbefitting of an institution of this stature. Buildings were derelict and dilapidated with cracked walls, leaking roofs and broken window panes. Doors were hanging off their hinges and walls were drenched and unpainted. Toilets and bathrooms, where they existed, were non functional. Portable water existed only in the realm of fantasy and the environment was simply uninhabitable.
The new management team appointed by His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, was undaunted and determined to make a positive change. They put their shoulders to the mills and worked themselves to the marrow to correct the infrastructural deficiencies and to put in place an academic curriculum that would match global standards.
Today, barely two years after, we can joyously sing a new song and dance a new dance!
Courses ranging from the General Certificate in Seminary Studies to the Bachelors Degree in Seminary Studies are being run, while the Online Programme of the seminary has also commenced and registration is ongoing. And registration has also begun for new entrants into the Vocational School of the seminary which is about to kick off.
As if the foregoing are not enough, the infrastructural facilities of the Seminary have also received an amazing facelift. The dilapidated buildings have been plastered and painted. Toilets and bathrooms are now functional. A security house has been built. A sick bay activated. A media rom constructed. A canteen operational. Lecture rooms made more conducive and comfortable. Indeed, all the upgraded facilities are functional and what more, there’s uninterrupted supply of portable water on campus.
The graduation ceremony of the Celestial Church of Christ Theological Seminary would hold on Saturday, 21st October, 2023. Venue is the school auditorium. Time: 10.00 am. Be there!
Below, the amazing transformation in videos and pictures:

This is commendable. I use to see school from the road since I moved to south-west from Abuja, is always painful to me seeing the at the same stage year in year out, unknown to me that I am still coming to be part of the school. Thank God am now a student of the institution, and I am proud to see and be part of history of the transformation.
Kudos to Team 11. God bless you all.
