The Chairman of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide Prophets and Prophetesses Council, Venerable Superior Evangelist (Prophet) Gabriel Jerry, has condemned the fraudulent acts being perpetrated by certain prophets and prophetesses within and beyond the Celestial Church of Christ, saying such dubious acts give birth to fake prophecies.
The Prophets’ Council Chairman’s comment is in response to an advert clip gone viral which showed a yet to be identified prophetess asking anyone with spiritual problems to come for consultation at the cost of N5,000 (Five Thousand Naira).
The said advert clip which surfaced on the social media on Monday, has generated wide spread reactions and condemnations from members of the Celestial Church of Christ across the globe, with many saying that the development is symptomatic of the rot in the Celestial fold.
However, in a sharp reaction posted on the C.C.C. Prophet’s Council Facebook Page, Venerable Superior Evangelist (Prophet) Gabriel Jerry, condemned the act in very strong terms, stating that any prophet or prophetess that charges for spiritual consultation is not from God but from the darkest pit of hell.
The Offensive Advert
Hear him: “Any prophet or prophetess that charges you for spiritual consultation is not a true prophet of God. They are not part of us in the Celestial Church of Christ Prophets and Prophetesses Council. They are from the pit of hell. A true Celestial Church of Christ Prophet or Prophetess will solve your spiritual problems. Anyone adding to your problems either by asking you for money or employing diabolical means are not part of us. Please, run away from them.”

It is a good step in the right direction as the chairman came out to speak against the ugly post and condemned it.
This will safe us from a general embarrassment and outright condemnation of the body of Christ in the Celestial church of Christ.
