The Pastor In Council Works and Projects Committee headed SVMSE Gabriel Oshoffa, in line with the promise made a few months back, has kickstarted different projects to change the face of the Celestial City, Imeko, Ogun State, even as the 2022 Imeko Convocation fast approaches.
In line with the 7 Point Mandate given to the Pastor In Council by His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, upon the Council’s inauguration in February, 2021, the Gabriel Oshoffa led Works and Projects Committee has kick started multi-million naira development projects aimed at uplifting the landscape of the Celestial Basilica, Imeko, and its environs.
Project One is the 600m Road with Drainage Walkway and Street Lights. This project is currently ongoing and is divided into Three Phases:
Phase One – 1,200 meter length 0.75 x 0.65 in drainage.
Phase Two: Earth Work and Road Surfacing.
Phase Three: Walkways, Slabs, Green Beautification pf Basilica Perimeter and Street Lights for the Road.
The ongoing Electrification Project is also divided into two phases with Phase One presently ongoing.
The Phase One includes:
1. Testing and Conditioning of Transformer.
2.Relocation of Plinth and other Civil Works.
3.Digging Erection of 19 HT and 1 LT Pole.
4.Procurement of Overhead Materials.
5.Stringing of Lines.
Concluding Phase Two includes:
1.Procurement of Sub Station Materials.
2.Procurement of Retline Wires for Reticulation.
3.Metering Substation, Basilica, Conference Centre.
40 Solar Street Lights along road under construction. Note that these street lights are already in place and functioning. Additional 40 Solar Streetlights for Basilica Perimeter to be installed.
Pastor In Council Works and Projects Committee members include VSE Smart Ifedayo Ogunbunmi (Europe), AVSE James Adepoju (U.S.A), Sup Evang Agunsoye, Sup Evang Oyesanya, Sup Evang Peter Onwodi, Sup Evang E.O. Rasheed, Sup Evang Adejare Oshin, SVMSE Babatunde Osibodu, SVMSE Dayo Olaifa, SVMSE Raphael Iwolode, SVMSE Jide Olayemi, SVMSE Henry Adelakun, SVMSE Gabriel Oshoffa (Chairman).
All the projects are being delivered through Direct Labour.
