We lost her yesterday!

Thursday, 14th March, 2024, was suddenly eclipsed by a thick dark cloud. Darkness thick enough to slice with a knife suddenly seemed to cover the firmament like a thick blanket.

To many, it’s still a bad dream…a terrible nightmare… that they fervently hope to wake up from.

But Nay, it’s true, sadly and devastatingly true… We lost her!

PROPHETESS DEBORAH GBOLASERE OSHOFFA is gone! Gone like a candle in the wind!! Gone to be with the Lord!!!

The reality is slowly dawning on many and the tributes have started rolling in.

Not in trickles but in torrents!!!

In honour of our departed mother, sister, daughter and friend, C.C.C. Media and Publicity Unit, serves you a deluge of some of the tributes already received below:

GBOLASERE O DIGBA

Deborah related well with me as a big brother. You would think I was her stepbrother. She obeyed my instructions even when it was difficult for her to do so. She was a sweet soul. Peculiar in her ways, just like we all are; none of us better than her.

We held a minute’s silence for her soul last night @ C.C.C. PraiseVille, live on air… As she began her 40 days’ spiritual sojourn on her way to Judgement Day.

I trust that God will deal kindly with our late sister’s soul in Jesus name. Amen. Awa to ku ni ka mu ra nitori awa na yio ku lojo kan.

My heartfelt condolences go to Deborah’s children, as well as her brothers and sisters in the Oshoffa Family and to her ex-husband and father of their children, VSE James Aso…

May God comfort them all in Jesus name. Amen.

It is saddening to hear the demise of one of the Great Oshoffas, Prophetess Deborah Oshoffa. What a world full of nothing but which people take as if they own everything. We are all passengers and one by one we will be stepping down. The unfortunate part is that the bus of life will never stop because anyone, I repeat anyone steps down, it continues its journey. USA National Diocese on Thursday condoled with the family of C.C.C. Founder on the demise of Prophetess Deborah Gbolasere Oshoffa, who died on Thursday 14th March, 2024. The HOD, C.C.C. USA National Diocese also extended his deepest sympathies to his Eminence, Rev.erend, Pastor E.M.F. Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head, C.C.C. Worldwide. This is to inform all faithfuls of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide that the church’s 2024 EASTER PROGRAMME would hold as earlier announced. This is irrespective of the cancellation of all engagements of His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa, following the shocking demise of Prophetess Deborah Gbolasere Oshoffa on Thursday, 14th March, 2024.

The 2024 Easter programmes would hold as follows:

-23/03/24: WASHING OF THE FEET at Klm 53 Lagos-Ibadan Expressway by the Pastor assisted by his immediate senior lieutenants. Time: 12.00 noon.

-24/03/24: PALM SUNDAY PROCESSION with the brass band @ 7.00 am. WORSHIP at C.C.C. SAINT S.B.J. OSHOFFA CATHEDRAL, INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS, KETU, LAGOS ( Pastor and his immediate senior lieutenants) @ 10.00 am. Also, PALM SUNDAY SERVICE in all other parishes of C.C.C. W/w @ 10.00 am.

-29/03/24: GOOD FRIDAY SERVICES. Pastor Worships at National Headquarters, Makoko, Lagos. (to be assisted by immediate senior lieutenants). Time: 9.00 am – 6.00 pm.

-31/03/24: EASTER SUNDAY SERVICE at National Headquarters Church, Makoko, Lagos. (pastor assisted by immediate senior lieutenants). Time: 10.00 am.
