The Celestial Church of Christ, International Headquarters Cathedral, Ketu, Lagos, Nigeria, further established herself as the reference point in the comity of Celestial Church of Christ parishes with the grand celebration of her 42nd Adult Harvest Thanksgiving on Sunday, 20th November, 2022.
Kudos must be given to the Shepherd in Charge, Venerable Superior Evangelist Olatosho Oshoffa, the Parochial Committee, the Harvest Committee and indeed the entire congregation of the Celestial Church of Christ, International Headquarters, Ketu, Lagos, for a wonderful harvest celebration, well put together.
As early as 7.00 am on D-day, invitees from far and near trooped into the expansive premises of the magnificient Ketu Cathedral for the event which had in attendance His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Supreme Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. Other dignitaries present were a royal representative of the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the representive of the Honourable Minister of Interior, Alhaji Rauf Aregbesola, Superior Evangelist Bola Ilori. The Iyalaje Oodua, Princess Toyin Kolade was also in attendance, as well as the representative of former President Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo.
The Oshoffa family was also well represented with the presence of Mother Celestial Edith Oshoffa, Most Senior Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa, Special Venerable Most Senior Evangelist Gabriel Oshoffa, Mother Celestial Fefe Oshoffa, Prophetess Olayemi Oshoffa, Prophetess Deborah Oshoffa, Mother Celestial Celine Oshoffa and many more.
To support His Eminence in the inner altar were Most Superior Evangelist T.A. Oshin and Venerable Superior Evangelist J.O. Ayodele (Ekiti State Evangelist). Also present were Venerable Superior Evangelist J.S. Kuti, Venerable Superior Evangelist S.F. Adeniyi, Venerable Superior Evangelist Augustine Olumilade, Venerable Superior Evangelist Segun Folorunsho, Superior Evangelist Obafemi Adewale, Superior Evangelist M.O. Shodunke, Superior Evangelist Rotimi Olulana, AVSE Jonathan Adepegba, Superior Evangelist Yomi Fakoya, Superior Evangelist Kaoli Olusanya and Superior Evangelist Peter Onwodi who served as the Service Conductor.
In his Sermon, His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa reminded the congregation that they are under God’s watch at all times and must strive to live a righteous life. They must ensure that their good deeds far outweigh the negative ones. “You shall reap whatever you sow. Those who sow sparingly shall reap sparingly and those who sow bountifully shall have a bountiful harvest. God loves a cheerful giver,” he reminded the congregation.
