DARK DAY AT IFE: VSE FIRMIN ADJOVI (Task Force Chairman) GIVES AN UPDATE

Calvary Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Truly, this is a trying moment for us all, as Clergy in particular and as members of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide in general. It is our prayer that God should comfort us all and fill our hearts with peace and love.

After the arrest made and the confession during interrogation by the Police, the case was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department(S.C.I.D.) and several people have so far been invited for questioning. This includes the Parish Founder.
The culprit’s confessional statement remains unchanged and is not different from what he told the police initially.

Below is the confessional statement of the culprit (Lekan Ogundipe):

1.The Shepherd (late MSE Morris Fadehan) did not support him (the culprit) to befriend Mummy Ewa (the prophetess that went on trance in the church).

2.The Shepherd (late MSE Morris Fadehan) retrieved the church keys from him (the culprit) on Thursday and he pleaded but his pleas fell on deaf ears.

3.The Shepherd (late MSE Morris Fadehan) said he will dismiss him (the culprit) as a Levite under him which he (the culprit) feels will be disgraceful.

4.He (Lekan Ogundipe) perpetrated this evil on his own without support from anyone.

The Pastor’s Representative in Osun State, VSE FIRMIN ADJOVI, visited the crime scene and the Police Station on Monday, 26th February, 2024, and also paid a visit to the family of the deceased Shepherd to deliver the Pastor’s condolence message to the family and the the entire Ile-Ife division. He also emphasized his support towards ensuring that the culprit is brought to book.

DISCLAIMER!

It has however come to our notice that one Mr. Sunday Joseph has been asking people to donate money to a Fundraiser to support the murder case of late MSE Morris Fadehan.

The general public is hereby alerted NOT to make such donations as the matter is now a Government vs Lekan Ogundipe case. The Police got involved right from the start. It is not a Celestial Church of Christ or Fadehan Family vs Lekan Ogundipe case.

The Nigeria Police Force is NOT requesting for funds from anybody. Not from the family. Not from the Church and not from the general public. Therefore, do not be a victim of any DUBIOUS SCHEME to raise money by anyone.

As much as this is a sad moment for all of us and we are all mourning our beloved brethren, let no one take advantage of this very tragic and traumatic incident to chase clout. Let’s remain law abiding and be assured that the church authority would render all necessary assistance to ensure that justice is served.
