The Celestial Church of Christ, Archdiocese, Ijaiye, Abeokuta, Ogun State and immediate environs erupted into a carnival like frenzy as the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, arrived to bless the congregation and also commission the newly constructed Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa Link Bridge, connecting the Archdiocese to her immediate community, on Sunday, 18th February, 2024.
The congregation danced and sang, all the way from the roundabout leading to the Archdiocese, as they ushered in the leader of the world’s largest white garment church, in a colourful and impressive convoy.
The E.M.F. Link Bridge was solely funded and constructed by the Ijaiye Archdiocese of the Celestial Church of Christ, under the able leadership of the Ogun State Evangelist, Venerable Superior Evangelist Joseph Talon.
His Eminence was accompanied by his amiable wife Mother Celestial Celine Oshoffa and Venerable Superior Evangelist Augustine Olumilade, Venerable Superior Evangelist S.F. Adeniyi, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Gouan Barthelemy, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala and Most Senior Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa (Personal Assistant to the Pastor, C.C.C. W/w).
In a sermon delivered after the commissioning, His Eminence warned against Christians being judgemental in their dealings with fellow human beings. He encouraged the congregation to imbibe and exhibit a strong spirit of fairness in all that they do. He preached the love of the Father and urged all Celestians to make eternity their goal.
