What a memorable and special Sunday, 24th of December 2023!

For the first time in many years, we had two major events of the Imeko annual convocation at the Basilica; Devotional Service at 10.00 am and the Christmas Eve Service at 10.00 pm. According to divine instruction, only ‘Brother’ and ‘Sister’ Sutana were allowed in these services. Many celestians tagged the day a special Sunday of Humility.

On Sunday at 10.00 am, the Basilica was filled to full capacity with thousands of worshippers and the main event was the Christmas Eve Service at 10.00 pm on the same day.

Unfortunately, Internet failure had always been a major challenge during Annual Convocations, especially on 23rd through 25th of December, due to the heavy concentration of multitudes (estimated at hundreds of thousands) at that period in Celestial city, Imeko.

Extra plans were made yesterday the Imeko Convocation Commitee to add the Airtel network to the MTN arrangement to bring in their network masts to the venue but unfortunately, this didnt yield the expected results. The Church Authority and ICC are presently making alternative plans to solve the annual network problems once and for all.

The Broadcast of the Christmas Eve service will be aired Live on social media as shown on the attached flyer, 7.00 pm this Sunday, 31st December, 2023.
