This is to remind all Shepherds and Church Workers of the directive of His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, that all Clergy, C.C.C. W/w, are to enroll in the Clergy Welfare Insurance Scheme aimed at providing financial succour for the dependants of the Clergy of the church after their demise. The sum benefit is N1.7 (One Million Seven Hundred Thousand Naira).
Also, all parishes of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide are to comply with the directive to make a 5% monthly deduction from their returns and pay same into the C.C.C. Clergy Welfare Account. The purpose of this deduction is to create a pool of funds to take care of the needs of C.C.C. Clergy while they are alive. This includes aged clergy, those with terminal ailment, those awaiting posting and also to cater for their general well-being.
Furthermore, the Clergy Health Insurance Scheme to cater for the medicare of church clergy with a premium of N12,000 per individual/ per annum would take off early in the new year, 2024. Hospitals to be used by those that enroll in the scheme are spread across the country, making it possible for all C.C.C. Clergy to access the medical facilities provided by the scheme, no matter where they are located.
Prospective subscribers are advised to visit the C.C.C. Clergy Secretariat at Imeko during the ongoing Imeko Convocation for further enquiries.
Similarly, the C.C.C. Clergy Welfare Committee, with the approval of the Pastor and Spiritual Head, C.C.C. W/w, is set to reward compliant Shepherds for the 5% Clergy Welfare Deductions with cash and hampers for top performing clergies. Visit the Clergy Welfare Secretariat at Imeko during the ongoing Imeko Convocation for collection.
Thank you.
