Representatives of the Nigeria Diocese of the Celestial Church of Christ under Reverend Lagun Adesanya visited the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, at the pastoral residence in Lagos on Wednesday, 13th December, 2023.
The delegation was made up of Prophet Ade Adekoya, Prophet Vincent Adedoyin, Prophet Tunji Abolade, Prophet Sowole Olukayode and Prophet Mayowa Adesanya.
The objective of the visit was to seek the oneness, peace and unadulterated unity of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. Welcoming the Nigerian Diocese delegation, Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa assured that the Celestial Church of Christ remains one indivisible entity and that their visit to him could be likened to that of a child walking majestically into his father’s house. His warm welcome, His Eminence assured, was without conditions as he made a promise to call Reverend Lagun Adesanya for further discussions after the visit.
The Nigerian Diocese delegation on their part assured His Eminence of their willingness to return to the Ketu mainstream of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. Talks in this direction are ongoing.
Also present at the meeting were Most Superior Evangelist M.O. Ajao, Venerable Superior Evangelist Tosho Oshoffa, Venerable Superior Evangelist S.F. Adeniyi, Venerable Superior Evangelist Augustine Olumilade, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Gouan Barthelemy, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala and Most Senior Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa.
