It was positive energy all the way as His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, embarked on a “marathon visit” to six parishes of the Celestial Church of Christ on Sunday, 29th October, 2023.

The six parishes were the Celestial Church of Christ, Ojodu Central Model Parish, Celestial Church of Christ, Ojo 1 Parish, Celestial Church of Christ, Babalola Manna Parish, Celestial Church of Christ, Mafoluku 1 Parish, Celestial Church of Christ, Ikeja 1 Parish and the Celestial Church of Christ, SBJ Oshoffa Memorial Parish, Dopemu, Lagos.

Coincidentally, the six parishes in question were holding their Annual Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Celebration on the same day – Sunday 29th October, 2023!

The journey started from C.C.C. Ojodu Central Model Parish where His Eminence showered prayers like confetti and blessed the appreciative congregation. The pastoral train then moved to the Celestial Church of Christ, Ojo 1 Parish and here, the congregation erupted in jubilation at the arrival of His Eminence and the pastoral delegation. Again, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa rained prayers and pastoral blessings on the congregation to the joy of all those present.

The next port of call was the Celestial Church of Christ, Babalola Manna Parish, where His Eminence delivered a power packed and soul touching sermon. Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa called on the congregation to repent and move closer to God. He assured them that anyone who seeks God would surely find Him as God Himself would move closer to such a person.

Most importantly, His Eminence made it clear to the congregation that the day of Harvest celebration is a time to look inwards and reflect deeply on our relationship with God. He emphasised that no one should come before God empty handed on such a day.

The prayer rain continued at the Celestial Church of Christ, Mafoluku 1 Parish and at C.C.C. Ikeja 1 Parish, His Eminence did not forget to call for a one minute silence in honour of departed God’s Own General, Venerable Superior Evangelist Victor Babatope Williams.

The spiritual odyssey climaxed at the Celestial Church of Christ, SBJ Oshoffa Memorial Cathedral, Dopemu, Lagos, where the excited congregants pushed and shoved just to catch a glimpse of His Eminence and to touch the hem of his pastoral robe.

The pastoral delegation was made up of Venerable Superior Evangelist Olatosho Oshoffa, Venerable Superior Evangelist S.F. Adeniyi, Venerable Superior Evangelist Augustine Olumilade, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Gouan Barthelemy, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala, MC Marcelina Oshoffa and MC Celine Oshoffa.

Keep flying the flag … Proudly Celestial.
