The U.K. Diocese Chapter of the Celestial Women Council has received a fresh breath of life. At a meeting held at the C.C.C. Harton Street Parish, National Headquarters on Tuesday, 1st August, 2023, the Head of U.K. Diocese, Most Superior Evangelist Amos Fatusin, reminded the women of the importance of their roles as mothers, wives, sisters and daughters.
In his words, “While the men build the house, you women build the home. While all of us are called to be helpers to others, the Bible places special emphasis on this responsibility for wives – companionship and welfare (Gen 2:18). Women are victors, leaders and heroines with qualities to be emulated.
They must therefore serve as the heart of the family and also role models in Christian purity and grace for their husbands, children and the church community. When ohers falter, they must be the centre of prayer and guide the church family through spiritual storms.”
In his own submission, the co-ordinator of the C.C.C. UK Diocese Task Force, AVSE Oluwaseyifunmi Akomolafe, spoke on the need to work within the orders of C.C.C. doctrines and the laws of the land.
MC Victoria Omodudu put a cap on this by submitting that indeed no one is above the law.
