The much advertised Celestial Church of Christ International Workers Retreat 2023 was flagged off as scheduled at the International Conference Centre, Celestial City, Imeko, Ogun State, on Tuesday, 28th March, 2023.

The opening of the retreat was attended by a large body of Shepherds, Church Workers, as well as Staff and Students of the Celestial Theological Seminary. The Rector of the C.C.C. Theological Seminary, AVSE Kayode Taiwo, welcomed all attendees after introducing the staff of the Seminary to the distinguished gathering.

In his address delivered by the Head of the C.C.C. Media and Publicity Unit, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala, M.P.I.C, the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, noted that indeed, “We are passing through a difficult phase when our great Church is faced with variegated challenges, perhaps most disturbing of which is the wanton bashing of the image of the church, especially in the social media.” He went on to call on all stakeholders to join hands with him to nip this cankerworm in the bud. The two day International Workers Retreat would end on Wednesday, 29th March, 2023.
