Constitution in sections 127 and 138, was successfully held on Tuesday, 31st January, 2023, at the Celestial Church of Christ, International Headquarters Cathedral, Ketu, Lagos.
The well attended event which was also beamed live on Zoom was presided over by His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, ably assisted by his tested lieutenants including Most Superior Evangelist M.O. Ajao, Most Superior Evangelist S.I. Akindoyin, Most Superior Evangelist Olusegun Olarinde, Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Noah Ikumehinlo, Venerable Superior Evangelist J.O. Ayodele, Venerable Superior Evangelist D. Ogunrombi, Venerable Superior Evangelist Gabriel Jerry, Venerable Superior Evangelist A.A. Aladeseye, Venerable Superior Evangelist J.S. Kuti, Venerable Superior Evangelist Segun Folorunsho and Venerable Superior Evangelist Akinbode Adjovi.
The General Committee Meeting which began after a one minute silence was observed in honour of Late Most Superior Evangelist Abraham Ajose, deliberated on crucial issues including Financial Matters viz Monthly Pastoral Returns, Welfare, Class Card and other levies, Celestial City Imeko Development Project, Convocation Committee Evaluation and Projections, Restructuring amongst others.
The large gathering of Clergy Men, Chairmen and Secretaries of Parochial Committees was also addressed by the Secretary of the Board of Trustees, Superior Evangelist Obafemi Adewale. A communique on the resolutions reached at the meeting would follow.
