HOW THE GOD OF S.B.J. OSHOFFA RESTORED MY FAILING HEALTH IN U.S.A – Sup. Evang. Adewale James Osiyoku

The planter of Celestial Church of Christ, Palace of God Cathedral, Ikorodu, Lagos, Superior Evangelist Adewale James Osiyoku, has recounted how God of Saint S.B.J. Oshoffa restored his failing health in the United States of America.

The America-based proudly C.C.C. Evangelist, who made this known in a statement he sent to Celestial Glory Magazine through the Shepherd of his parish, Superior Evangelist Daniel Taiwo Olayode, recently affirmed that he built the Palace of God Cathedral to appreciate the wondrous works that God Almighty did in his life in the United States of America.

Hear him, “I need to tell a story of how this parish, C.C.C. Palace of God Cathedral, Ikorodu, Lagos, (a living testimony of God’s faithfulness), came into being. The journey started on September 16th, 1997, after I’d commissioned my first building in Offin Ilé, Ikorodu. Before then, God had told me that He would build a palace for me in the town and this came to pass exactly seven years after in September, 2004. That same day, another message came to me from God Almighty that He had fulfilled his promise by given me a palace and it was my turn to build a beautiful and well-designed place of worship for Him, specifying that it must be by the roadside.

“Two years later, another message was delivered to me as a reminder but my reply to the message was not in accordance with God’s wish. Then my travails began in earnest. I suffered a lot because I started the church building foundation in 2005, but later abandoned it. Instead of continuing the project, I decided to build a pure water factory at the back of the church, into which I invested over twenty million Naira but sadly, I gained nothing from the investment.

“In August 2016, another message came to me that God was not pleased with me. The message reminded me that after God had blessed me with all I asked for, I disobeyed His instruction to build Him a place of worship. The warning was that I was at a risk of incurring God’s wrath for disobeying His directive. I immediately raised some money for carpentry work and in a space of one month the roofing was completed.

“However, in April 2017, God made it possible for my son and myself to travel to the United States of America. I arrived Dallas on the 7th of April and I was admitted into Parkland Hospital two days after. I couldn’t talk, see nor walk and I was told I had five percent blood left in my body.  The treatment commenced immediately which required an operation and dialysis. I told the Doctors that I was not interested in undergoing any surgery. The Doctors asked why and I told them with faith that the God I serve is a living God and He would heal me without any surgery being performed. Soon, I started praying and shouting “Ọlọ́run Oshoffa! Don’t let me die; I will complete the place of worship you asked me to build, back in Nigeria, if you allow me to walk, see and talk very well again. I will never disobey you again for as long as I live. Brethren, if God be for you, who can be against you. He knew what was going to happen, yet He sent me abroad for treatment, please where was I going to get $68,000 for treatment, but the God of Oshoffa did it for me. Halleluyah to the most high God,” the church planter stated.

“CCC Palace of God Cathedral is a living church under the covenant of God. Furthermore, I want everybody to know that this church is not my church, it is a community church, your church, our church and that is why I don’t want to be the PATRON, because the Lord had made it clear that, ‘I want you to build a church for me as your thanksgiving offering.’

It is not my property; this is known to all my family members and that is why I have handed over the church documents to the highest authority of Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. If God can save my life and use the American government to bring me back to life with $68,000 without my contributing a dime to the cost of my treatment, then this place of worship belongs to God,” he added.
While recounting some of what the Lord had done in the parish since he took over, the parish Shepherd said, “Well, all I can say is that God has truly been faithful to every member of the parish. It is not by my power but by the love and grace of God. The church of God has been growing in spirit and in population and I believe God will still do more.
Going by what few members have said so far, the testimonies are so numerous that I can’t narrate them all. Is it about those that God has blessed with the fruit of the womb or those whose businesses have been restored back to greatness or the youths who were once jobless but are now gainfully employed and financially stable. In short, I can’t say it all, truly the Lord has been faithful,” the Shepherd gushed.
