As the year 2022 gradually draws to an end, a confetti of celebrations cascaded down on the household of His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Supreme Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.
First was the 74th birthday celebration of His Eminence on Christmas Day, 25th December, 2022. This also coincided with the celebration of his 20th Anniversary as Pastor and Supreme Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, on the same day. Not to talk of the launching of a book chronicling his pastoral journey in the last twenty years and titled, “Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa: A King Between Two Kings – Twenty Years and still Counting.”
The joy and excitement in the air was thick enough to slice with a knife as family members, church members, friends, associates, well wishers and men and women of goodwill, gathered under a prestigeous canopy erected opposite the pastoral residence, Imeko, Ogun State, to celebrate with the man of the moment, God’s gift to the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Adebowale Abiodun Vihan Friday Oshoffa, Pastor and Supreme Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.
The celebrant arrived the venue of the triple celebration accompanied by his wife, children, members of the Oshoffa Family and senior church clergy a little after 6.00 pm and were ushered in with a sonorous rendition of the pastoral song by Yinka Ayefele, who was on the bandstand with his musical group.
Prayers said, a few attendees were called upon to talk about E.M.F. and it was accolades, encomiums, applause and ovation all the way. It was also a successful book launch as C.C.C. members demonstrated their support for their beloved leader as they launched the book with generous sums of money.
Dr Yinka Ayefele (M.O.N.) showed the stuff he is made of as he kept attendees dancing into the night with soul lifting music. His Eminence was not left out as he danced with with wife, children, Oshoffa Family members and church members to the delight of all. The pastoral delegation retired to the pastoral residence after the celebrant cut the giant birthday cake. Joint vote of thanks was delivered by VSE Olatosho Oshoffa and VSE Gabriel Jerry.
