OUR LOSS, HEAVEN’S GAIN…Superior Evangelist Kehinde Ogunyemi Joins the Saints

It is with a deep sense of loss but in total submission to the will of the Almighty that we announce the call to higher glory of Superior Evangelist Kehinde Ogunyemi, which occurred on Tuesday, 21st March, 2023, after a brief illness.

This valiant soldier of Christ was, until his passage, the Vice Chairman of the Council of Elders, Celestial Church of Christ, Arch Diocese, National Headquarters, Makoko, Lagos. He was also the Chief Organist (Ogonimass) at the C.C.C. National Headquarters, Makoko, and the Organist General of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.

He was a skilled trumpeter, a vocalist and a multi-instrumentalist who produced many dexterous organists in his lifetime. Sadly, we have lost one of the very few valuable custodians of our hymns, choir ethics and choir practices.

We commiserate with the family he left behind and share the pains of the Celestial Church of Christ, Arch Diocese, National Headquarters, Makoko, Lagos.

May his soul find eternal peace.
