VSE MICHAEL SALAKO CROSSES TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GREAT DIVIDE

With a deep sense of loss but with gratitude to God for a resourceful and purposeful life well spent in the Lord’s vineyard, we announce the passage of a General in God’s army, Venerable Superior Evangelist Michael Salako.

VSE Michael Salako joined the saints triumphant after a brief illness at the Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa, Osun State. He was until his demise, the Shepherd in Charge of Celestial Church of Christ, Oluwaseyi Parish, Nassarawa-Abuja Expressway. A stickler for the rules and tenets of the C.C.C. He was adept at the conduction of bazaar sales in the Celestial Church of Christ, earning him the monikers ‘Baba Poku Lo Wo e,’ and ‘Baba Onigbanjo.’

He would also be remembered for always presenting himself to celebrate and mourn with members of the C.C.C. and parishes from far and near. He exuded love, shared love generously and was loved by members of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.

Born at Ilaro, Ogun State, Venerable Superior Evangelist Michael Salako is survived by wife, children and grand children.

Funeral arrangements would be announced later.
