Following repeated acts of disobedience to pastoral authority, unbridled insubordination and instigation of parish members against the directives of the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, we make this announcement that:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most Sup Evang Amos Fatusin, HoD UK Diocese<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 has demoted the Shepherd in Charge of the Celestial Church of Christ, Harton Street, London,<\/strong> VSE Bayo King, <\/em><\/strong>from the rank of Venerable Superior Evangelist<\/strong> to Assistant Superior Evangelist.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The foregoing is contained in a memo titled PASTORAL ORDER: DEMOTION IN SPIRITUAL RANK<\/strong>, bearing reference number CCC\/EMF\/PO\/AD-DSR-001\/04-24<\/em><\/strong>, which reads:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Following your acts of disobedience and insubordination by your refusal to vacate C.C.C. Harton Street Parish as Shepherd after you had been withdrawn by Pastoral Orders dated 25th September, 2023 and 12th February, 2024 respectively, and the destabilising role played by you at the parish, including but not limited to setting members of the parish against the Pastor and Spiritual Head of C.C.C. Worldwide, you are hereby demoted to the rank of <\/em>ASSISTANT SUPERIOR EVANGELIST<\/strong><\/em> with immediate effect.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pastoral Order<\/strong> further stated that, “During the period of demotion, you must neither use nor be addressed  by any spiritual rank over and above the rank of <\/em>ASSISTANT SUPERIOR EVANGELIST.<\/strong><\/em>  Also, you <\/em>MUST NOT<\/strong> wear the church garment of any rank over and above the rank of <\/em>ASSISTANT SUPERIOR EVANGELIST.<\/strong><\/em>“<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the memo made it clear that,“Your attitude and actions will be closely monitored by the Office of the Pastor, C.C.C. W\/w. It is expected that you will exhibit the remorse expected of a true Christian, obey my orders and also demonstrate an improvement in your conduct, whilst remaining steadfast in worship and loyalty to the constitution of the Celestial Church of Christ. Such will enable me to reconsider my decision in due course. Otherwise, you may be subjected to further disciplinar<\/em>y action.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa<\/em><\/strong>, also clarified his position concerning a parallel Diocese known as the C.C.C. UK\/NI Diocese<\/strong> with VSE Bola Olaleye<\/em><\/strong> as Leader:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It saddens my heart to hear that I had allegedly given permission to a group of Shepherds in the UK Diocese to proceed with the formation of a new administration under the leadership of VSE Bola Olaleye, parallel to the C.C.C. UK Diocese under my appointed representative, Most Superior Evangelist Amos Olabode Fatusin. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now Assistant Superior Evangelist Bayo K<\/strong><\/em>ing<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I wish to affirm that I did not authorise any group of Shepherds  to form a parallel Diocese in the United Kingdom. The Celestial Church of Christ, United Kingdom Diocese, is one and should remain so under the leadership of Most Superior Evangelist Amos Olabode Fatusin as Head of Diocese. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once again, I appeal to you all to work together in love and unity for the peace and progress of the Celestial Church of Christ United Kingdom Diocese and the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.<\/em>“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

May the God of our blessed Father, Saint S.B.J Oshoffa, continue to guide and abide with us all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
