A<\/strong> rainbow is the apex of God\u2019s amazing creation. It radiates in a dim, rainy sky or in a sky just beginning to unveil the sun. A rainbow is a reminder of the faithfulness of God in turbulent times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the book of Revelations, the glory and power of God on His throne are described in these words: “After these things I looked, and behold, a door opened in heaven . . . and a rainbow was around the throne.\u201d\u00a0(Revelations 4:1-3).\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And all through the Bible, from Genesis<\/em> to Revelations<\/em>, the appearance of a rainbow is a significant symbol of the presence and power of God. In Bible times and even now, it remains awe inspiring to behold the beauty of a rainbow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you see a rainbow after a storm, it is a strong metaphor of faith for the enduring gifts of God’s grace and mercy, just as it was to Noah<\/em> in the Bible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday, 24th September, 2023<\/em>, a full blown rainbow graced the firmament as faithfuls of the Celestial Church of Christ, rejoiced at the Annual Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Celebration of the Celestial Church of Christ, Christ Ambassador Parish, Pen Cinema, Agege, Lagos, tagged “Kingdom Covenant Celebration 2023.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a chat with C.C.C. Media<\/strong><\/em>, the Shepherd in Charge of the parish, Venerable Superior Evangelist Elijah Bello<\/em>, spoke on the appearance of the rainbow at the parish’s Adult Harvest Celebration, by diving into the Bible as he quoted copiously from the scriptures in Genesis 9:12-16;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations. I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it shall come to pass when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud…And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. “<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
