T<\/strong>he Garnishee Order placed on C.C.C. Bank accounts operated by different parishes of the Church has been lifted by Honourable Justice S.H. Aprioku sitting at High Court 9, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, after hearing the preliminary objection raised by Obafemi Adewale, SAN, for and on behalf of the Registered Trustees of the Celestial Church of Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The order is made as follows (1) That the 1st Garnishee Zenith Bank Plc<\/strong>, 2nd Garnishee United Bank for Africa Plc<\/strong>, 3rd Garnishee Guaranty Trust Bank Plc,<\/strong> 4th Garnishee Access Bank Plc,<\/strong> 5th Garnishee Polaris Bank of Nigeria Plc<\/strong>, 6th Garnishee Keystone Bank Plc,<\/strong> 7th Garnishee First Bank of Nigeria Plc,<\/strong> be and are hereby discharged<\/strong> and all monies attached belonging to all Parishes of the Celestial Church of Christ in Nigeria, operating Bank Accounts that were attached be unfrozen forthwith<\/strong> by the aforesaid banks for the Account holders and signatories to operate same forthwith<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(2) That an order be and is hereby made, striking out this suit in its entirety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
