S<\/strong>equel to the constitution of a seven man panel by His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, concerning the ‘Female Shepherd” controversy ignited by the activities of MC Folake Akintan of the Celestial Church of Christ, Central Parish 1, Circuit Headquarters, Benin, an emergency executive meeting of Edo State Clergy was convened by Most Superior Evangelist (Pa) N.K Amadasun, on the 16th of February 2023 at his residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of the meeting was to make enquiries and address the worrisome incidents that had gone viral on social media platforms and had also been brought to the attention of the Office of the Pastor, C.C.C. W\/w. The worrisome incidents border on the desecration of Celestial Church of Christ doctrines, ordinances and core values by M\/C (Prophetess) Folake Akintan of C.C.C. Central Parish 1, Benin City, Edo State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the meeting, Most Superior Evangelist (Pa) N.K Amadasun made it clear that he’d been in the dark as regards the contentious issues until someone close to him called his attention to the matter on 12th February 2023. He stated that he thereafter viewed certain videos and pictures of M\/C (Prophetess) Folake Akintan, where she was captured performing certain clergy duties which were beyond the scope of the female gender, as spelt out in the stipulated doctrines and ordinances of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the light of this, Most Superior Evangelist (Pa) N.K. Amadasun formally expressed his utmost displeasure at the unacceptable development and decided there and then that M\/C (Prophetess) Folake Akintan be invited to the meeting immediately. She was invited and arrived within thirty minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The outcome of the meeting would be made public soon.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
