The Shepherd in Charge of the Celestial Church of Christ, International Headquarters Cathedral, Ketu, Lagos, Venerable Superior Evangelist Matthew Olatosho Oshoffa left no one in doubt that he was bursting at the seams with appreciation for all God has done for him as he marked his 53rd birthday with a thanksgiving service on Sunday, 22nd January, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivering a sermon from the two scriptures specifically chosen by the celebrant for the occasion, Most Superior Evangelist M.O. Ajao, who stood in for His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, made it clear that the lessons to be learnt from the 53rd birthday celebration include knowing and acknowledging that we are nothing without God. It is by His grace that we are alive today. It is by His grace that we are what we are today. He knew us even before we were created and our lives must therefore revolve around Him at all times. We must pray without ceasing and continually give thanks and praises to the Almighty for all he has done, is still doing and would continue to do in our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most Superior Evangelist M.O. Ajao also delivered a message of goodwill and prayers from His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, to the celebrant and his immediate family. He informed the congregation that His Eminence holds the celebrant very dear to his heart but had to embark on an urgent journey in response to an unexpected call. His Eminence beseeched God to grant the celebrant long life and prosperity in good health in the mighty name of Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The birthday thanksgiving service which was held at the Celestial Church of Christ International Headquarters Cathedral witnessed a large turn out of the top echelon of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide including, Most Superior Evangelist M.O. Ajao, Most Superior Evangelist S.I. Akindoyin, Most Superior Evangelist Olusegun Olarinde, Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Noah Ikumehinlo, Venerable Superior Evangelist J.O. Ayodele and Venerable Superior Evangelist Akinbode Adjovi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also in attendance were royal fathers including the Onikosi of Ikosi, the Onimeko of Imeko, His Royal Highness, Oba Benjamin Olanite and His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife. The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (P.D.P) in Ogun State, Honourable Ladi Adebutu also graced the occasion. Celestial music stars Lanre Atorishe and Evangelist Abel Dosunmu (Mega 99) added spice to the occasion by providing soul lifting music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
