S<\/strong>unday 16th October, 2022<\/em>, was indeed a black Sunday as the Celestial Church of Christ, Blood of Jesus Parish, Felele, Lokoja, Kogi State<\/strong>, was attacked by terrorists at about 8.00pm<\/em>, shortly after the day’s glorious Sunday service. The attack left two members of the parish dead and several injured. ISWAP<\/strong>, an Islamic terrorist group has since claimed credit for the dastardly attack.<\/p>\n

The good news however is that upon learning of the attack, from his France<\/strong><\/em> base, just before returning to Nigeria<\/strong><\/em>, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa<\/strong><\/em>, Pastor and Supreme Head<\/strong> of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide<\/strong>, reached out to the distressed parish with a wand of succour.<\/p>\n

Supported by the distinguished members of the Pastor In Council<\/strong>, C.C.C. W\/w,<\/strong><\/em> who immediately set up a Relief Fund<\/strong> for the victims of the regrettable attack, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa<\/strong><\/em>, has sent an undisclosed sum of money to settle the hospital bills of the injured and to provide relief for the parish. Upon receiving the breather, the Chairman, Secretary<\/strong><\/em> and Shepherd in Charge<\/strong><\/em> of Blood of Jesus Parish<\/strong>, called C.C.C. Media<\/strong><\/em> to pour out their profound gratitude and to appreciate the kind, thoughtful and humanitarian gesture of His Eminence<\/strong><\/em> and the Pastor in Council, C.C.C. W\/w.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
