Harvest Point Ministries Inc, organisers of the Yoruba Christian Evangelistic Rally billed to hold in Texas, USA, in December 2024, have reached out to the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa.
In a letter delivered to His Eminence by C.C.C.’s Director of Music, Superior Evangelist (Dr) Rotimi Olaosebikan, the organisation’s vision was clearly stated thus, “We are delighted to inform you, sir, that Harvest Point Ministries was led by God to start a Christian program where the Yoruba language is used to pray, praise and worship God. We also hold devotional services every Sunday, all in the Yoruba language. We have our centres spread across America in Houston, Raleigh North Carolina, Chicago, Kentucky and Ohio. We also have a good presence in many African countries.”
Furthermore, “The ministry is organising an International Yoruba Christian Rally that will bring together people from all over the world, scheduled to hold in Houston, Texas, in December, to which we earnestly covet your endorsement and support.”
Responding, His Eminence lauded the in Ministry’s initiative and commended the President of Harvest Point Ministries Inc, Henry Odeneye, for making this conscious effort to lift Yoruba language out of the bracket of languages classified as being endangered by the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). He assured the Ministry of his support and endorsement.
A branded bible, copies of the Ministry’s magazine, a broach and pen were presented to His Eminence.
