The C.C.C. Worldwide Task Force Corps under the able leadership of Venerable Superior Evangelist Firmin Akinbode Adjovi, M.P.I.C, has warned against the violation of the extant laws and principles guiding the presentation of church members for anointment and ordination at the Celestial City, Imeko, Ogun State. Recall that a Pastoral Order on the subject matter was recently issued by His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.

Venerable Superior Evangelist Firmin Akinbode Adjovi, Chairman C.C.C. Task Force Corps

Sequel to the foregoing, the C.C.C. Worldwide Task Force Corps in two separate memos has called on all State Evangelists in Nigeria and Heads of Diocese abroad to work hand in hand with the Task Force Corps to ensure full compliance to the procedures. The memo to all State Evangelists in Nigeria and Heads of Diocese abroad clearly states that, “Therefore, all State Evagelists in Nigeria and all Heads of Diocese abroad MUST send a duplicate of the approved and signed list of candidates to be presented for anointment as compiled by the Shepherds in Charge to the following C.C.C. Task Force Corps WhatsApp number 07068709568, for proper records and clearance.

In a second memo, members of staff of the Pastor’s Office in charge of anointment records and processes were sternly reminded that, “No anointment list should be processed unless the Shepherd in Charge comes with a well vetted, approved, signed and stamped list of his proposed members to be presented for anointment, duly signed by the State Evangelist (Nigeria) or Head of Diocese (Abroad) of his jurisdiction, as the case may be.”

The memo further states that, “Going forward, any staff that violates the recommended flow will be perceived as obtaining funds from the Shepherd and his parish members by false pretense, as this will not be in consonance with laid down administrative procedure. The Church expressly frowns at the implied diversion of funds, evident by this practice and the too many complaints and challenges that young, inexperienced members with “BIG RANKS” pose to the Celestial fold. May I also remind you that obtaining by false pretence is a section of the criminal code (Section 419), which is punishable by law.

“Punitive measures and appropriate sanctions shall be meted out on any PASTOR’S OFFICE STAFF involved in connivance or fraudulence as regards the subject of discussion.”
