The Celestial Church of Christ, Saint Galilee Parish, Parakou/Gbira in the Northern Region of neighbouring Republic of Benin, celebrated its 10th Adult Thanksgiving Service on Sunday 8th November, 2022. The thanksgiving service was held a day after the commisioning of the newly built Cathedral of the parish.
The St Galilee Parish, Parakou/Gbira, headed by Deputy Head of Diocese Republic of Benin, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Rodrigue Chabi had the honour of the presence of His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Supreme Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.
In his sermon, His Eminence admonished all Christians to live in love and holiness, emphasizing that worship without holiness is incomplete and unacceptable before the Lord. He prayed for the peace of the country and called on God to guide and light the path of those in leadership positions.
Also present were, the Head of Benin Republic Diocese, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Come Gnanhoui, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Aholouye Appolinaire, Venerable Superior Evangelist Wamba Christophe, Superior Evangelist Amoussou Moise.
